This website (www.alonsoappeals.com) is operated by Cristina Alonso, P.L.L.C., doing business as Alonso Appeals ("we," "us"). It is an informational website. It has no user accounts, no contact form, and no comments. It does not set cookies and does not use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, session-recording, keystroke-logging, or live-chat tools.

Third parties

• No third-party resources are loaded when you view a page. Fonts, images, and scripts are all served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google, social networks, or ad networks simply because you opened a page.
• Pages link to other websites (for example LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, court websites, and publishers of articles). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and they can collect information only after you click through to them.

Optional analytics and your consent

The site currently uses no analytics. If we ever add privacy-conscious analytics, it will remain off by default and will run only if you select "Accept optional analytics" in the notice at the top of the page. You may change your choice at any time using the Privacy Choices button in the page footer. Declining has no effect on your ability to use the site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, optional analytics stays off even before you make a choice.

Electronic communications (Florida law)

The Florida Security of Communications Act, Chapter 934, Florida Statutes, including sections 934.03 (interception of communications) and 934.31 (pen registers and trap-and-trace devices), restricts the interception of electronic communications and the capture of dialing, routing, addressing, or signaling information without consent or another lawful basis. To honor those protections, this website does not use tools that record the content of your interactions with the site, such as session replay, keystroke or form-field capture, chat widgets, or third-party tracking pixels, and it does not use third-party tools that collect your device or routing identifiers. The only routing information recorded is the standard server log described above, which is needed to deliver and secure the website. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Your rights (including under the GDPR)

This website is directed to people seeking appellate counsel in Florida and federal courts, not to the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. Nevertheless, whatever your location, you may ask us to:

• tell you whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• erase your data, where we are not required or permitted to keep it (for example, to satisfy professional-responsibility or legal obligations);

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are (a) our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website, (b) taking steps you request, such as answering an inquiry, and (c) your consent for any optional analytics. Information sent to us is handled in the United States, so contacting us from outside the U.S. involves a transfer of that information to the U.S.

Confidentiality and the attorney-client relationship

Visiting this website or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship, and email is not secure. Please do not send confidential information until you have spoken with an attorney.
